Western Troy
(WRY-TSX) was incorporated in 1988 as a junior mining
company focusing on exploration of precious and base metals
in Canada.
Since
incorporation Western Troy has explored
several properties in Ontario and Quebec.
The company’s
main focus is on the MacLeod Lake property, located in
Northern Quebec. Over 4.5 million CAD has been spent to
date by Western Troy and partners.
Western Troy
was successful in identifying 2 zones with both precious and
base metal potential. The first zone has now, proven
resources of approximately 37 million tons of Copper,
Molybdenum, Gold and Silver (0.75% Copper equivalent).
 Western Troy
is commencing a work program focusing on the other potential
zones to increase the proven tonnage and increase
economic viability. In addition, increased metal prices over the last three years have already added value to the existing reserves thus increasing the economic viability of the property.
All results
and progress will be posted as received.
